Attention Leaders: Inoculate Your Organization

It’s a Strength, Not a Weakness

For those of you who may not have seen this inspirational TEDTalk, it’s a beautiful reminder of the importance of how leaders, we have the power to inoculate our organization’s culture of one where our people know we’re ‘in this together’.

Close ranks. It’s a win/win.

We all come from a lifetime of different experiences. It’s what makes us unique. It’s what makes our organizations as amazing as they are – we’ve united a myriad of different areas of expertise to achieve a common goal.

It’s also an unbelievably commanding force behind what makes some teams more successful than others.

Take heed when it comes to recognizing that leading our organizations requires objectivity and subjectivity – but all should be peppered with a healthy degree of realizing that together we can achieve amazing results…. when we take the time to listen.

Let your people know they can ask for help.

In this short TEDTalk, Michele Sullivan does a beautiful job illustrating the reality that asking for help is a strength – not a weakness.

We’re human. Let’s do this together.
